Toyo Ito

The contrast between the black and white in this product/image is exceptional. The shapes are so unique like the middle image that is like a strange doughnut shape the light comes from the bottom and not the middle top like you would expect. The reflections that this creates on the ground are unique and look so good. I like how the end image can be used as a light shade or a light bubble on the ground. The fact they have turned the sculpture into a light means that they create different colours and tones of grey within the images. These sculptures are made of wire so the light also reflects off the metal and illuminates the frame.
